I have a wealth of experience initiating, shaping, delivering and improving projects; and leading award-winning online products and services, working with major international broadcasters, cultural institutions, libraries and archives.

Background and previous roles:

  • Director Of Product at Deep Dive Data Tech Limited, creating a unique private AI system for the archive sector.

  • Executive Product Manager in BBC Technology and Archives, leading the definition, design and delivery of online products that deliver content and data to audiences.

  • Expertise in content digitisation, enrichment, compliance and publication, including application of AI and ML technologies

  • Led non-commercial archive partnerships team, providing content and data to museums, libraries, galleries and educational sectors.

  • Business Manager for BBC Production, a half-billion pound, 3000 person business, described as 'the world's greatest content producer’.

  • Head of Technology and Distribution for the award-winning thespace.org – the online service for the London 2012 Cultural Olympiad.  As well building and running thespace.org’s online products, I launched the pop up Cultural Olympiad TV channel on Freeview and Freesat.

  • Leader of an extended systems engineering team comprising of engineers, business analysis, service management, technical project management and product management.

  • Product Manager, Research and Education Space – an award-winning online platform delivering cultural heritage data and media to people in UK education.

  • Leader of an award-winning online service to stimulate conversations between people with dementia and their carers, in collaboration with Alzheimer’s Society.

  • Programme Manager for the Digital Public Space initiative, working with cultural heritage institutions across the globe.

  • Consultancy clients include NRK (Japanese National Broadcaster) and Public Library Of New York, and the Educational Recordings Agecny.

  • Trustee of Learning On Screen - a charity and membership organisation, experts in the use of moving image in education, delivering online academic databases, on demand video resources, training, information and advice.

  • Founder and previously Director of the Children’s Creative Community Club – a not-for-profit after school club in South East London, supporting around 100 local families.

  • I have given numerous keynote speeches at conferences around the world, including a TedX Talk, and have produced multiple BBC blogs about technology projects, and a book about the BBC’s Archives.

  • Having originally trained as an Organisational Psychologist at Cranfield College Of Aeronautics, I have since completed numerous accredited professional training programmes, including Leadership at Ashridge, Advanced Negotiation, Career Coaching, and am a Certified Scrum Master.
